The death of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has and would continue to have far reaching effects.
Trinidad and Tobago’s Mr. Renzo- an artiste who has Venezuelan ancestry, told us ETCETERABUZZ that he feel’s Hugo Chavez’s death recently is concerning. He says he will be looking on with great interest to see what happens next, as the country’s political situation appears to be in a quite delicate position. Venezuela now has to elect a new President in one month’s time. “With the amount of oil and natural resources available in Venezuela and the political climate there at this time, there could be some tension,” he said, noting that he visits Venezuela quite often and has seen first-hand, how poverty has affected the people there.
Mr. Renzo who is currently working on the completion of his translated English to Spanish album told ETCETERABUZZ.COM that he will be heading to Venezuela at the end of March, indicating the likelihood of him being in that country during the election period.
Mr Renzo has been working on creating a crossover soca inspired Latin compilation for some time now. And it should be available by the end of the year.
“My career is going great. I’ve been working non-stop and after Venezuela, I head to Grenada for a show there. I’m still working on some of the material for the album but I’ll tell you, so far the music has really been traveling. It’s playing a lot in Miami, Canada, New York, Grenada and Guyana and I make good use of the social media tools daily, to remind fans of what I’ve done and let them know what I’m working on,” he explained.
